Drytooling Republic Championship will be held on December 23-24, 2017 with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX).

A mass ascent up the Heydar peak (3751 m), located in the national park Shahdag, took place in connection with the 94th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev co-organized by Azerbaijan Mountaineering and Extreme Sports Federations Association and Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX) was successfully finished.

 On March 11-12, 2017 will be held climbing competition "ÜMİD" organized by Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX). The competition will be held among young sportsmen above 12 ages in the category of bouldering.

 The competition on sport climbing (B) "ÜMİD" will be held on March 11-12, 2017. Also, deadline for submission of application forms extended by March 07 until 17:00.

 Presentation of FAIREX was held in ASAN service  center No.2.

On January 22, 2017, an instructor Farid Mustafayev of Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX) gave a presentation of federation, its activity and history for ASAN Volunteers. Young people were informed about climbing center ClimBaku and other opportunities created for youth by federation.
