On April 12, 2014 started the tournament “Umud” among youth and teenagers in sport climbing center “ClimBaku” under the organization of Federation of Air and Extreme Sports of Azerbaijan (FAIREX). In order to participate in two-day tournament, were registered more than 100 athletes representing 21 sport clubs (FAIREX) throughout the country.

Under the organization by Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX), in “ClimBaku” climbing centre on April 12-13, 2014 starts the annual tournament "Umud" among junior and youth.  

 The athletes wishing to represent our country at World Cup on Sport Climbing (Bouldering, Speed) in the National team which will be held on May 3-4, 2014 in Baku near the National Flag Square may apply to the Federation of Air and Extreme sports of Azerbaijan Republic.

 The sportsmen of Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX) in the National Team of Azerbaijan successfully represented the country at the European Championships on ice-climbing held in Ufa, Bashkortostan Republic of the Russian Federation from February 28 to March 2, 2014.

Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX) together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports has successfully completed the Republican Championship on Ice Climbing on a frozen waterfall near Laza village of Gusar region.

The first Republic Championship on drytooling, organized by the Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX) in “ClimBaku” climbing centre on December 14-15, 2013 has finished successfully.

The event on International Mountain Day, organized by Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan and Shahdag National Park was held in the climbing centre “ClimBaku” on December 11,2013.
