Ascent to “Heydar peak” successfully finished

 The regular ascent to the “Heydar peak” (3751 m)on occasion of anniversary of the death of national leader HeydarAliyev organized by Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation (ADEİNFA) and with the support of Federation of Air and Extreme Sports (FAIREX) was successfully finished.

 From 9 to 12 December 2014 more than 150 participants first moved to camp situated in the foothills of the mountain range of Great Caucasus andthe next day theyclimbed to“Heydar peak”.
It should be noted that with the purpose of organization of ascent in high level in advance by headquarter was identified the routes, set up the camp, ensured all necessary measures for the safety of people taking into account the difficult terrain and climate conditions.
The ascent participants laid wreaths of roses to bas- relief of national leader HeydarAliyev and commemorated world-famous personality.
The highest goal of ascent of “Heydar peak”, as well as taking into account the increased number of people willing to join with the campaign in comparison with previous years, participants traditionally visiting mountainous areas of the national park are exempt from the entrance fee.
